JP Photography Workshops

I am really excited about this and the response we have received about doing these workshops.

There are two ways to put together a workshop. 1. Plan a workshop at my studio (Powder Springs), or 2. Plan a workshop at your home (Photo Party!).

Workshops can be 3 - 10 people. I will take you through the subject of your choice, teach you how to adjust your camera settings, and teach you what to look for in a shot. You may be surprised at how many others in your neighborhood are interested in the same thing. So get the word out and get a group together.

The workshops will last 1 hour depending on the amount of info you are wanting to cover. Below are a list of the various subjects I can cover for workshops. Note: Some subjects may need more than one session to totally cover.

*General Photography*
- Understanding your camera
- Venturing out of the "Auto" setting

*Photographing Your Child*(Candid Photography)
- How to improve your photographs of your children
- How to bring out your child's personality in your photos

*Event/Family Photography*
- How to use your flash effectively
- How to make your photos tell a story

*POST PROCESSING* (Bring your computer/laptop)
- How to enhance your photos before you print them.
- Photoshop assistance (fun quick ways to enhance your photos)
- Understanding how to fix color, contrast, haze, blur, etc.

Oh my gosh it must cost a FORTUNE!!

Nope, just $30 per person. That includes coming to my studio or having me come to another location. For locations 30 miles or more outside Marietta a $35 fuel charge will be added for the session not per person.

What I do while waiting for the shot at Proms

You have heard the stories about Bridezilla's and their Moms, but don't let the Prom Mom's fool you. They give them a run for their money. Especially when you are in front of them and your Camera hood ends up in all their photos. I think I'm going to start wearing a ball cap with my logo on the back of it for when my head gets in these other folks photos :) But most of the time I am polite, stand to the side and get cool photos like these.
